Truly amazing Squamish.

D7000 Nikon 24-70mm 2.8 @ 26mm f/2.8 1/320 ISO 1000From a fundraiser for a nonprofit I used to work for. Its a Dancing with the "Stars" (well, "stars" around Austin) theme. Got my hands on the 24-70 2.8 for it, it was so great to shoot with.

D700 + AF-S 300mm F4 + TC14E. Heavily cropped, I wanted to maintain a safe working distance, since Snowy Owls are protected by law (in Canada) and they can be easily stressed by people who are not careful.Posted 1 year ago # -
And there she was, just sitting there all alone, waiting to be photographed.

This is an early morning capture from a corner of Mizner Park in Boca Raton, Florida. I actually did a 3 shot bracket 1 EV apart and loaded all 3 into HDR Effects Pro. At the moment I'm not sure if the program used all 3 exposures to create this image or if it used only one and adjusted it with its algorithms. I'm still trying to figure that out. Regardless, I do like the result.

From the latest photo shoot with my wife. This time she actually volenteered though, so I didn't have to drag her kicking and screaming in front of the camera...

Nice find Mikefrewer! Gotta be fast right? Very unique Pierre well done :)I was just there last weekend! I wish I had brought my tripod though, and more time... the person I was with wasn't really wanted to stay long/do much at all. It's tough going out with people who don't like to photograph.
Do you ever do any photography group meetings in Seoul? I'd love to get some holiday photos next weekend, and will most likely be in downtown for NYE.

Here's a critter from the butterfly garden at Changi airport in Singapore. I really like that airport.
