    Hi everyone..

I previously had a film SLR F65 which has a "NIKON AF NIKKOR 28-80 1:3.3 - 5.6 G" lens. I'm planning to buy a D7000 now. Was just thinking whether that lens would be compatible with the D7000, or rather if it is, then would this be a good idea?

I would really appreciate the opinions/ advices/ feedback of the experts.

    Thank you so much!

Good day and welcome. You lens, according to Nikon, will work on the D7000. Hence, the technical spec's on Nikon's D7000 page that states: "AF-S or AF lenses fully compatible."
