Is it true that you have to register the lens within 10 days after purchase ?, my understanding is that the most important thing when you submit an ESC claim is to have the purchase receipt of the lens.
Any previous experience registering and using the ESC service ?, thanks
I have registered all my purchases online (within 20 days of purchase), and never sent in the ESC card. I haven't sent in any equipment for repairs yet but I don't think it's a issue if you have your original invoice.

Do I have to register the D7000 2 Year Digital SLR Extended Service Coverage or I just need the proof of purchase and the ESC booklet ?, thanks
