I am using Lightroom 3 to import all of my files from a recent trip to Disneyland. Everything is going great, except two of the longer videos I took wont import. Lightroom is claiming that those files cant be read. Everything else uploaded just fine. Is there anything I can do to recover these .MOV files so that I can view them on my computer?

Lightroom does not do video just photos.
All you need to do is manually copy the movie files from the disk to your hard drive.

I am certain Toa is right. I have had no problems with Apple Aperature 3 to import .MOV files from D7000. But to edit them requires a Nikon NX2 or Final Cut Pro.

Hi,
I might recommend Adobe's Premiere CS5 (expensive and hard to learn) or Premiere Elements (affordable and rather easy, but still not too intuitive). Sony Media Software's Vegas comes in Pro versions and Studio versions. Pro is somewhat pricey, Studio is much less expensive. They share a similar interface.
To add to that mix, Corel bought InterVideo nee Ulead Videostudio Pro X4, which works very well and is pretty easy to get going. It's pretty cheap, too.
My best,
Mike
