This is why I cut my own hair, Rifqi. Was that lit with CLS flashes?

jonny, the advantage of letting my wife cut my hair is that she can't complain about it later. That being said, I don't let her shave me for obvious reasons...
It's not CLS flashes, they're a bit beyond my budget. It's a mix of LP160s and YN560s. Full story with setup shot for those who are interested: http://rifqisphoto.wordpress.com/2011/11/14/kitchen-barber-shop/

D700, N 105mm macro + TC-20EIII, I've always liked those...Posted 1 year ago # -
Pierre, the last photo you had of Atlas reminds me of the Atlas in Rockefeller Center, although you probably took that photo nowhere near Rockefeller Center.
Home sick. :(

Taken in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, a block from my work.Thanks.
Definitely not a great photo by all means. I saw a fox from my window as I was preparing breakfast, so I got dressed and grabbed my camera and chased after it. Something tells me I shouldn't do the same if it were a bear.
However, the photo did allow me to try to reenact Moose Peterson shooting wildlife.
With a D40 and a 18-135mm, instead of a D3s and a 400mm 2.8. :D
I most certainly spooked it because I ran after it, but there was no way 135 was going to be enough focal length to capture it.
Anyway, pretty impressive for the middle of Long Island.

Taken from one abandoned railroad bridge shooting at the one below it. (If there's an abandoned bridge in the woods, there's a good chance I'm on it.)
D7000 - 50mm/f1.8D - f/4 - ISO 200 - 1/80sec
If I happen by this again while working I think I will redo this with either a much slower or much faster shutter speed. Don't like the water quite the way it is here.

Eh, still not a small feat to capture one of these guys... last time I saw one was when walking back from a convenience store at 3AM (couldn't sleep, decided to trouble friend working the night shift) and jumped a fox sniffing through someone's trash. No camera on me... but also no light to speak of!

I really like the bokeh coming through the window, rifqi. Its almost like the drape is opening just to show the viewer. :]
