Can't figure how to use the "selector" button to pull up the histogram

Hello. I had sent my D3s to Nikon for cleaning and they have reset the camera to original factory settings. Not sure why,..but they did.

I used to be able to push the selector button in while reviewing a picture and see the histogram in color. Any idea how to get that back? I'm just bewildered here.

In the menu there are several options that you can enable/disable for the image preview, histogram is one of them. I don't have a D3s so I don't exactly know where you can find them but I'm sure that you will :)

Yes, re-install the settings backup you made on a CF card before sending it to Nikon.
You did back it up right?

Found the setting under "Custom Settings".

Did do a back-up but Nikon updated the firmware and didn't want to possibly confuse the camera. Thx.

Pleased you've got it sorted. FWIW, I don't think restoring a pre firmware change backup would have been any problem.
