niec picture fraew - it looks the sigma is quite good on IQ
monty - nice capture, I like the panning and the way You captured the water, the thing I don't like is the darkness, try to brighten it a little bit and maybe change the crop to 16:9 format

Yeah.. the first of the 2 pic bird sequence has the head quite blur because I was "lucky" that I snapped it just as it saw the small butterfly and was turning its head quick as a flash! You can see the butterfly in the same frame near the bottom.

Hey guys! I have been in Shreveport, LA for the past few days, with my grandparents. My grandpa's a photographer, so I've taken quite a few pictures which I will post over the next few days. Oh, while I was there he gave me a copy of photoshop elements 5, so that's a step up from microsoft photo editor, hahaha. He also loaned me his old sigma 400mm f5.6. Well, great pictures everybody!
Taken while messing around with my grandpa's SB-800

@ drkbl - Stunning capture, it's so soft and delicate.

Regulator75, nice closeup, I would only move the subject a bit left to avoid the strong right edge. Well chosen background, looks like a spell in a fairy tale! :)I'd faved it over there.

I've been a little busy...not much time to post. School is starting here and I'm getting ready for that. I drive a school bus part time. It keeps me in toys.
Lots of good stuff posted the last couple of days.Posted 3 years ago #
