We may actually make the forum read only until we complete the transfer, so if you cannot post any comments, just wait few hours until we are done. The new forum will be located at forum.nikonrumors.com

I have been a part of a team that did this before for an on-line group. It took us about 2x as long as we expected but it all worked out well :) Can't wait to see your new look!

when the new one goes up, it probably wouldnt be hard to have a single html/javascript redirect so that anyone that comes to this old ur, it would automatically redirect them to the new url.
just a thought.

I single redirect is easy to do, the problem is to map every single post after I import the data to the new forum. Very difficult, because the new forum has a different URL structure.
