I have a Nikon FT2 with a whole set of lenses. Would somebody know if the lenses would fit any of the present Nikon DSLR bodies ? A reply would be much appreciated.

You need at least AI versions of the manual Nikkor lenses. The pre-AI will not work. You can find some info on how to find out if the lenses are pre-AI, AI or AI-S using Google.
What you can do with these lenses also depend on the camera that you are looking at. For some "lower-end" cameras the light meter will not work, but you should check in the specs of the camera how manual AI can be used.
I use my manual AI lenses on a D700 and they perform well.

Ken Rockwell appears to have done an exhaustive list of Nikon lens compatibility:

Cue billion-post discussion of Ken Rockwell.

nikon manuals that come with the camera tells you what lens can be used with your camera.
if you do not have the camera as yet, looking to buy, and want to know if the lenses that you have will work, in addition to rockwell, you can check Nikonians
their listing is very easy to follow.Posted 1 year ago # -
They all will fit. The big thing to watch/feel/listen for is that some of them have a flange around the rear lens that the mirror will just barely scrape. That is not good for the camera - won't hurt the lens and you may want to carefully file it down.
The is the whole Auto Indexing part but you can get that from Mr. Rockwell's site.
