Interesting SUP shot, kanuck. I like the creepy mist people emerging in the background. :]

Very nice Jyri. That's quite some sky squamish, (edit: well for the time it showed-up).

Thanks Kanuck, glad to see see you back. Very mysterious shot, I love your use of the foreground to give it great depth.
Loving the Europe stuff Pierre, makes me want to go back.
Welcome Jyri and wonderful shot.

Tried to get lightning but didn't reach an open spot before the storm ended last night. The curses of living in the middle of suburban sprawl.

Hi all,
My first post here. I've been following this thread for a while :) some really great pics here.

taken with a D7000 + 35mm prime.

Welcome aboard Noob001. Nice photo with excellent DOF. The D7K + 35mm is a sweet & sharp lightweight combo.

D7000 with Sigma 50mm F1.4 DG EX HSM @ f/2 1/8000sec ISO 100 ev +0.33 **straight out of camera**
(FWIW, the jury's still out on this lens as far as it being a keeper for me. It's sharp but I noticed uneven distribution of the aperture blades and questionable sharpness at times.)Posted 1 year ago # -
