Hi there,
I have used my D7000 for about 3-4 months with 18-200 VRII.
I wondered if you could take a look at the photos I posted on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/radaphat/sets/72157627169067157/
Many photos appear to have yellow-ish or orange-ish tone on them. I think the problem has shown since I updated the D7000 firmware to version 1.02 (about a month ago). I tried to update it twice hoping that the problem would be gone. But it still shows the same problem ever since.
The problems do not consistently occur in every photo. I guess they randomly appear in some photos, and don't in others. I changed the white balance to Auto, sunny, and indoor to see if the yellow-ish and orange-ish tones appear only in particular white balance. But my assumption is that the problems also appear randomly on every white balance setting.
Today I switched the lens with my friends (18-105) and still found the same problems in some photos. Some of the photos on flickr were taken by my 18-200 and the 18-105. My friend used my lens on her D3100 and found NO problem. So, I guess the problem is from my camera.
I noticed that the problems occur only when I shoot papers/books. So far, I have not found any problems when taking scenery or portrait photos (though, it might occur later).
Has anyone ever heard or experienced similar problems? How should I solve them? It is very annoying because I have been taking photos for my research. These yellow/orange-ish photos are not usable :(
I tried googling for threads and possible solutions, but did not find anything useful. So, I hoped some of you might have some advice how to solve this issue.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you!!
