Ive just come across details of a case for the iPhone 4 that allows all Nikon F mount lenses to be attached. Has anyone investigated this product yet? If I'm allowed to I'll post a link to the site.

You don't check the main page much do you?

Actually Niko you're wrong........I NEVER read the main page! :-)
It's always seemed strange to me to have 2 discussion forums going at the same time?
Sorry, I'll check there as well in future.

How do you change the aperture?

The aperture ring is probably a good place to start. On G lenses, I have no idea. Maybe the elusive G-to-AiS adapter! The aperture can be changed manually with a G lens, but there is no way to stop it in place without a manual lever lock. Perhaps the Photojojo adapter has such a lock built into the mount.
NSX- are you a member of Headfi.org (the headphone website)? And if you are, did a 'shigzeo' there ever buy a nice cable or a gameboy DS or something from you?

Wow, I'd love a G to Ai-S adapter. But then I would have no idea what to do with it though, since I have very few FX lenses.
Nope, wrong NSXType-R there. I don't browse headphone websites. :D
I do have a DS though, that I barely use.

Based on their history Apple is bound to redesign that phone in the next cuppla years. Then what?!

That is the problem with these designs, sure.

I would like to try this at one point just out of curiosity. I'd like to see the image quality it renders, but it seems there would be a lot of strain on the lens mount with all that weight attached. Brilliant concept though and I suspect they would have sold a lot of these around Christmas last year, but maybe not now that the Iphone 5 will be released next month. Apple re-designs are a pain with things like this for sure.

have you ever seen a 200mm f2 ?
4.9 inches around by 8 inches long
6.4 lbs
the correct lens to use when walking through the bad part of the city.
you can use it as a club.

Geez can you imagine putting that on this apple mount?! Surely there must be some restrictions. 90% of Nikkors could be used as weapons I think all known for their weight. 200-400 with camo on it would deter more than a few people I'm sure :)

As far as size and weight go, I don't think there would be a restriction on the lenses that can be used with this mount. The lens would have to be held instead of the phone though. As an idea though, it's intriguing and I admit it's cool but it's also gimmicky. If it was selling for $20 or even $30 as a max then sure, I'd try one but with a price around $120, no way! As been already mentioned, iPhone is known for it's issue with different sizes. I even wonder if this would fit the current white iPhone since Apple made it a few millimeters thicker than the black one. As far as I know, covers for the black version don't even fit the white one.
All of this not even mentioning that it would render the mobile phone... immobile. I can only imagine what getting a call while having a 24-70mm attached would look like. People would think that; a) I have one of those retro phones like the ones from the 40's or b) I've gone nuts and am using a lens to hear louder.

oh my god yes! Of course I didn't even think of the obvious. Just imagine getting a phonecall with some Nikon monster attached! hahaha thats really funny and would make an excellent photo post on here I think :)

How interesting... http://photojojo.com/store/awesomeness/iphone-slr-mount/
Maybe the best thing about this link is the "Do Not Pull" lever.... a must try for anyone....
But, as to the subject... the new 800mm f/5.6, with iPhone attached.
