Something is happening, to respect the 800 pixels restriction here, I post my pictures in flickr at 800 pixels, but once they are shown, they are not as sharp as the original. I have tried to post slightly bigger (850 pixels) or change the jpeg settings, but it is still not sharp. Any idea? I have noticed this on my shots that recieved lots of editing.
What I've had to do is resize the jpeg first to 800 pixels then upload it to default. If I don't it comes out looking mushy on here. Great shot, Pierre!
Great work everyone!

Yes, I do that too, first resize to 800 pixel (tried CS5 and ViewNX 2, does the same), then upload to flickr and post here. Still, it must be something with the editing process, I will have to do more tests until I find the reason. Maybe filckr have changed something. Looks like it tries to make the picture slightly bigger. On an older subject, I now know why ViewNX was screwing my colors, when I was converting my tiff, I had the "Remove ICC color profile" checked when it should not.
Here is another blurred:
Pierre.....try using tinypic.com and see if it makes any difference.
I really liked the moodiness of this shot, even though photos aren't allowed on the bridge. :D
Maybe a little HDR style editing can bring out the colors a bit.
Bonus for those who can identify the bridge.
Delaware Memorial?

Triboro or Throgs bridge. I think.
Nice red, Treckie!
