Hmmm, been here for awhile, but I haven't yet posted in this thread yet. Let me give this a shot with one of my bugs:

D90, 50/1.8D with 50mm of extension. Used an LP160 on 1/2 with Lumiquest III softbox.

So my buddy lent me his 105 micro (I sold mine a while back and regret it a lot), and I was able to try 105 micro + tce20 III + kenko extension tubes + macro rail for some crazy close ups. It's very hard to shoot with so much magnification. This isn't a perfect image but it was the best of the lot. To give an idea of scale, the leg is resting on a sheet of 'printer' paper.

New members, please remember the one post per 24hrs rule. Old members, you should know better! It's 24hrs, not 18 or 20. Post to our flickr group if you are in such a hurry to show your photos off. Give others a chance to show photos here please.

Great shots, everyone! Pierre, I'm really liking your colors and toning on your village shots!

@Pierre- thanks! +1 to what Bland said, colors are great and I love the feel of your shots lately, surreal almost.
Wonderful images everyone.

Part of the ceiling in a dark, old Spanish Mission chapel. No idea where the rope goes (bell maybe?) Almost looks like a noose, but pretty sure that isn't the case, given the location ;-)

I'm a little disoriented by that shot wheelmanbmf, but I like it nonetheless. Thought that it was a tattoo at first glance.
Great contributions to the forum so far zalian, welcome!

The last of my sunrise shots; this one at the moment that the sun broke through the clouds.

Thanks Bland and wheelmanbmf, your appreciation is well recieved.
I like that shot lauzobe. almost fractale.

Your flower shot is simple, yet beautiful squamish.

I cannot say this is a great shot and I still have to decide if I like it or not. I wanted to see how far I could push my HDR skills so I shot 5 1-f-stop-separation frames directly at the sun and this is pretty much the best I could do.

@kaos- thanks. Sorry for the disorientation, I changed the description to reflect that it was the ceiling. I guess since I shot it, I hadn't seen that it might be hard to see the perspective. :)

An older photo, but the more that I look at this shot the more that I like it. Something is strangely pleasant about it.
