Over the opening credits of of The Daily Show tonight (check it out on the comedy central web site), it clearly said: "HD sponsored by Nikon" ...
So there appears to be life in the Nikon USA marketing department!
Do they read Nikon Rumors Forum I wonder? If so, then that did get you noticed (at least by me), but if you guys are reading this... DUMP ASHTON.

There are a bunch on Ashton too.
And yes the guys and gals from Nikon Melville and other Nikon insiders read this forum daily. They get a good laugh out of how wrong you guys are at predicting things.
