We know prices of pro level lenses are trickling back into the supply stream (maybe stock in transit) and prices are msrp or higher. Anyone want to guess when prices will drop? For no reason, I'll throw in with September 2011.
Price drop predictions (Summer/Fall 2011)?

This is like predicting the stock market in my mind but I doubt we would see any unless either the US economy or the Japan economy takes major swings one way or the other, this could also mean price increases, but my crystal ball broke years ago and it does not have a warranty if that helps. Maybe spring of 2012 for no reason

When do pro level lenses ever drop in price? I have not seen many creditable places above MSRP right now, which is only $100-200 or so above normal. I have seen tons of places NOT gouging anyone. Usually smaller shops. Just have to look harder and not just Amazon.
