Which is your favorite paper?

There are many variables that affect our photography; lenses, filters, camera resolution, etc. And there are generally three ultimate “destinations” for your images:
*Print for display
*Printed in brochure/magazine/etc.
*Viewed on the computer.

We discuss the camera variables regularly, but I’m interested in the paper you print on.

I’m curious, which is your favorite paper?

Currently mine is Hahnemuhle Matte FineArt Photo Rag for serious fine-art stuff, Red River 68lb Ultra Satin Pro for everything else.

I like these because:
Ultra Satin Pro is priced well, works well in my printer, dries fast and looks good for “everyday” use. This seems to be consistently good paper.

The Hahnemuhle is truly great fine art paper – expensive, but worth it. Best highlight and shadow detail I’ve seen since I closed the chemical darkroom... good stuff.

For every day "run of the mill" stuff, I find the 235gm Fuji Super Glossy, or the 270gm Satin is ok; usually the stuff that is going to get passed around the family, and given to the children to 'have a look at' (how come a child looking at something always means fingers... Fingers covered in chocolate or snot?)

For high quality things, I usually visit the local printers, and see what they advise for a shot or a collection; it is easier to get them done there, instead of spending time and money running around getting the different papers and ink myself, and printing them out at home.
