Does anybody know where I can find some schematics or a repair booklet for the nikon EM as I want to make a working miniature (to an extent) of it and cant figure out how to fully take it apart. Also schematics for the D3, Dxxxx whatever dslr and lenses you can find or know would help. Also (without any links posted) has any members used a sellers ebay pdf manuals (like what legrandexplorateur offers) and were they good?

Currently Ive stopped making paper minis (one below) as I want to start making working mini cameras that go beyond the pinhole phase...

You probably won´t find any Nikon trade secrets on the internet. Get an EM, take it apart piece by piece, measure and photograph each part and hole dimension. Then AutoCAD or Solidworks, some machinery and good luck to your project.

I made and launched a paper rocket shaped like a bell (ok, I followed plans, I'm not creative enough to do it on my own).

One of my friends recently had to take apart a camera to experiment with the sensor, and he managed to get a copy of the manual from a site of dubious integrity (after a lot of digging). I guess if you are willing to dig hard enough, you can get some old repair manuals. They're not normally distributed to the public, but you know how things are.
