I'm planning to purchase a level 1 RAID for file redundancy in the event of a disaster. (I've been living dangerousness for way too long.)
Two questions:
-Does anyone have experience w/ the following product:

-What is the workflow/production environment recommended? Do you move your entire Lightroom catalog (in my case) and photos to the array and use that as both your production and back-up drives.

I have no experience with this set up
but the lightroom catalog must be on the computer hard drive (not an external )
the photos can be anywhere
I suggest you back up the LR catalog to the external drive
you can change the back up location when LR prompts you to back up
click the "choose" box, to right of, the Backup folder
