Lenses just jumped again. For instance, just yesterday (Tues. the 6th) the 85mm AF-D 1.8 was $459.99 on both B & H and Amazon. Today it shot up another $30 to $489.99 on both sites. That's a $50 increase from a few weeks ago when they were $440. Not sure what happened in the last 24 hours to cause yet another increase.

Yep...it seems to be all around and not really just certain lenses. I am glad I ordered mine 3 weeks ago.

Doesn't seem too surprising- supply and demand after all. If the pro lenses are all out of stock, then the people who really need them will buy lenses like this one.
Well, at least it's not as bad as the 35/1.8 (yet), whose US price is now more than the Canadian version.
