K.R. is nice to Nikon - is the world ending?
I was idly surfing on sites I don't usually regard as Nikon in nature to recover from D5100 launch overload :) and stumbled on into Ken's web site. Expecting a rant that I didn't agree with, yesterday's blog entry happened to be about the D7000.
I'm about to change my view of this very opinionated 'individual'. His praise of the way he can just get back to using his D7000 - just like "that" - matches mine. He was going to shoot his kids and says:
"The fantastic thing is that I grab my D7000, and in one flick, (not three Function Bank Menus), I'm exactly where I need to be to photograph my kids exactly as I want them, exactly coincides with mine and I can't ever remember that."
and
"I continue to be astounded at the new level of performance the D7000 has set for the industry."
He gushes on even more, but I'll spare you the rest :)
I happen to agree with him that the D7000 is the best $1,100-ish camera out there.
The question I ask everyone else is: Does this redeem him any in our eyes?
(and no.. I am NOT Ken using an alias)....
