    Looks like the water drop photos are making a come back. Last year, or was it the year before, the PAD had several pages worth of water drop photos. There was even a how-to thread as a result.

    Very nice HDR padlockd, something about that makes me wonder if it's Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde coming up behind you as you shot it.

    @Mike - Nice! Very dramatic.

    @kaos - Thanks! I was kind of going for the "Sherlock Holmes" look. =) I love the depth of field on your macro; just enough for the insect, and then everything else fades away into buttery blurriness.

    Kaos, I'm glad you zoomed in more on the one from last month. It really served this image well.

    The more I look at that image, Squamish the PC-E type of feel makes it seems like he's in Honey I Shrunk The Mountain Climbers. ;-)

    SU-27
    Finally, after almost two years I've managed to finish this picture. It's a combination of 6 different files (app.36MP) + some PS work + Nik Software Color Efex Pro.
    Even that it took so much time, I still remember being there and I remember the sacrifice those two guys made in order to save other lives. Only day after this photo was taken (29/08/2009) those two pilots decided to not eject themselves and control this plane till it end.

    @Regulator: I always look for your shots and I enjoy them a lot!

    Here comes another droplet from the past.. with "Milk":
    White Drop Poise
    Droplet Experiments with Milk using a Nikon D70s camera together with a Nikon Bellows PB-4, SB28 Flash and 120 Zoom Macro.
    The PB-4 added the sense of perspective.
    The photo is a little bit OOF due to the fact that the DOF was narrow!

    I will try to re-search. (I almost opened a new thread on this topic but I wanted to see the user responses first. Before posting the photo I have done a search with no success.. now you gave me pointers)

    For a almost new user here like me, I found that the search engine here in the forum does not always return the results you want. It will be nice if we have a How-to search tutorial.

    Nothing complex or difficult about using the search. I just typed water droplet in the search box and this was the first thread in the search results:
