Hi, Everyone
Im looking for a slideshow program for mac any recommendations?
hamburger slide show, sounds good, I'll take one, with fries on the side.
the one included in Lightroom 3 works for me
the best what You can get (w/o paying anything) is iMovie
When you use lightroom 3 for a slideshow you can only watch it in lightroom correct? So if you finalize it and try to send a copy to somone who does not have lightroom then they cants watch it. Is this right? I heard this somewhere and have not tried it yet. I just got lightroom 3.
~Cheers
If price was a concern, I'd use iPhoto (should come with your mac). iMovie will give you more control over each image, but the whole process will take longer. Lightroom and aperture should give you more control over your video (particularly with resolution and compression settings), but will cost you more, as would video editting software like Final Cut (which is probably too cumbersome to use). There are also dedicated applications like ProShow which are designed to do this.

No, LR has an mp4 export option, so the slide show can be rendered and seen by someone without lightroom.
good news. Im going to have to check that out. It really would be nice for the workflow.
thanks
Keynote, Appele's flavor of Powerpoint, has excellent slide-making capabilities and you can export to several different filetypes, i.e. Quicktime, HTML, PDF, etc.
Do you want this for web use only?
Or
Do you want to be able to burn DVD, Blu-Ray and web, iPhone, etc.?
Do you want to mix in HD video?
FotoMagico is the one I was thinking of.
You do know there is an edit button where you can edit your post for up to 24hrs, right Proimages?
