What program are you using to import photos?
Not any special ... I let Windows Vista take care of the importing. I get the import splashscreen and when I choose "Import" all pictures goes to the wrong place ... :o(
switch to mac, check Your camera clock
Maybe mac is a little expensive for some people=) I agree with the camera clock though. When you look in the file that the photos are imported to in windows you prob have a little screen at the bottom showing all the photo info when you click on it. You chould change it here. I had a canon reset(i know it was my wifes) and this is how I fixed the photos after they where on the comp already otherwise like adamz said check the camera clock.
~Cheers
No clue. I tried looking everything I know of and couldn't find a thing. I have Lightroom import things. I would check Microsoft's web help.
D7000 clock OK ... 26.03.2011 ... so where is the problem ... everything is still going to 2010 !!
You've obviously checked the computers date/time? Is there a reason you are not using the free Nikon transfer software?
I assume you have checked the settings in Windows Photo Gallery. Is it set to import to the 2010 folder, or to create a new folder with the date photo was taken (can also set to date photo was imported)?
For years I'm using a cute tool called Downloader Pro, that allows you to configure the way you donwload the photos from the card reader/camera, using any EXIF data for naming the target directory or target file name. It also allows you to create copies of the photos while you are downloading.
Found the solution !! As warprints said - the settings in Windows Photo Gallery was set to folder 2010 - changed it to 2011 - WORKS !! Thanks all !!!
