That pic is something kanuck. What kind of PP was done?
Hi sorry it took awhile to comment on your question I got a nice email in my hotmail account looked innocent enough and from a distant friend then bam! A very serious virus crippled my computer all day yesterday....Anyways, as far as post processing goes I did a highlights and shadows adjustment layer, one mask and curves adjustment layer. I also uses a B&W preset in Lightroom 3.0 and noise ninja. This was the first photograph I have sold in 2011. I placed it in a local art gallery near my retired parents place on the island. They mostly like water colors, but the occasional photograph does well there as well. I printed it at the reasonable 11x14 size and it sold after 10 days.

Great shot, Kanuck. Take it with the F100? I seem to remember you shooting a lot of that trip on film. Looks like it could've used a red or yellow filter(or perhaps just more if it was digital PP), at least for my liking. :]
Thanks Squamish, actually it was shot with my D700 although your right I did use the F100 quite a bit on the trip. I have been disappointed with the scans of my slides so far. I think you might be right the sky should be almost black for a more dramatic look perhaps. I think the owner of it now was pleased though. I'll meet the buyer when I go back home for a vacation in Canada this summer.
Regulator thats a fine looking pano. One of the better ones I have seen for awhile. This months outdoor photographer has a nice article on panos. Using a 35mm is apparently the best focal length to use. I love using my 35 Zeiss for those kinds of shots. Monty, Kaos, Squamish, Treckie and Pierre nice additions for the new month as well! :)
