One of my expensive wish list item would be one of those underwater housing. I am not a diver, but would love to be able to take underwater photography as a part time hobby.
Do any of you have one for these for the D7000 or any other recent DSLR? I'd like to know about your experiences and impression on this tool.
It is a big expense and I would not be using it very often. So one of my big concerns would be on how the waterproofing would resist the drying up over process when not used for long periods of time and if because I would not be using it day in day out, if it would reduce it's lifespan.
I did a forum search and saw annoncement, but not related threads. So I would also like to take this opportunity to see and hear from those who have done some underwater photography.
My experience is limited. I bought my wife, now ex-wife, a case for her Powershot SD400. And I took pictures on our 2005 snorkling outing while on a cruise. Unfortunatly I no longer have the wife, the case and the pictures. lol (I did keep the S400 while she kept the SD400, which could both be used with the casing).
