Just a FYI. I read an article on a dependable Apple blog site, that the color gamut is off by 20% or so. Will try to find a link later. Two reasons for posting this is that if you have one or thinking of buying it beware of it's picture displaying flaw. I was considering buying it, this was terrible news that has made me have second thoughts. I wasn't going to use it for PP but more for displaying larger images while away. Will now wait for the iPad 2 to release and decide. I use a 27' iMac as my PP screen.

That's interesting, thanks for sharing Funduro. I am also waiting to see what the iPad 2 will have new to benefit photographers. I looked at the 27" iMac, I thought the screen was lovely, but was put off by the well publishised glossy screen reflection issue. You don't find it a problem? Instead of the iMac I ended up just buying a new Dell 27" screen. I don't have any reflection problems, but nor do I have the image clarity that so wowed me when I first saw the apple screen.

Well, don't forget that you have to calibrate it, as you would with any display. I'd be interested to see the article to see what they have to say specifically.

I'm not really tempted to look at matte screens.
