Heres my story, I spent ages for the d7k to drop in price and the second it did i placed an order, even quicker than normal and the thought of the VAT going up in the next 2 days or so I gave it less thought. Now I was waiting for the memory card and for a week my d7k was unopened.
I used all the money i saved for "a rainy day". A massive bill came and i needed to help my parents, figuring i was lucky that i didn't open the camera i returned my camera. Card came few days after
Impulse decision to trade a d7k to a d3100, decided I was jumping too high for a "beginner" Thinking i could cope for a few months. Then trade up. The camera wasn't bad, quite good on the contrary, but as a hasty decision I lost commander mode so no wireless ttl :( (bummer as i bought a sb900) and no AF on my 50 prime.
looked online for nikon hotshoe cable and found it for like £80 :(,the d90 was £120 more and had the features built in.
so after 3 and a half weeks i manage to sell the camera for the same price i bought it and bought a d90. :) yayyyy
not for long, 2 days after the price drops me loosing £40. Angry i ask the shop for the difference. Kind store lady say manager wont accept but return it and buy it back as if you havent used it on the phone.
Phone to see in another shop if manager will accept, they say no, but offer some free prints. screw the prints,
i go to another branch and test the ladies advice. First sales guy acts like a douche and says i have to go back to the same store i bought it from, they don't accept returns. After working in retail for a long time, I say thats bollocks and demand to speak to a manager. They look at camera, say no to return. Say i want the difference as a last resort and i actually dont want to return the camera i just want the difference. Guy takes 10 mins and says ok.
WOOOOOT!
Sorry to anyone that read all of it, i had to vent.
