I don't suppose we have any members here working at tonight's Football game do we?
Just curious to see if we do, and if so would you like to share a reply with details about how it went for you (good/bad shots made) and what gear you used?
where there’s smoke there’s forum fire

Whats the superbowl?
I kid. I wish I could photograph a superbowl. I sort of work freelance for 2 indiana papers. (small town) but i wish i could go to the Indianapolis 2012 superbowl on their grant.

Indeed. And I can *almost* see Jerry world (as the Cowboys stadium is called) from where I live, I am just west of Fort Worth.
I don't see too many photographers in shots on TV but I *DID* see that camera op get splattered a few minutes ago...
We've had a crew there for a week in the freezing weather. They're there mainly to shoot Christina.

Hope someone from your crew has footage/good shots of her screwing up the Star Spangled Banner.
If it was American Idol, she'd not be going to Hollywood ... LOL!!!

Ha! I got bored watching the "pre-kickoff" crap, and forgot to watch her sing the Star Spangled Banner. Did she screw it up?
Yeah she screwed it up pretty bad, and even if she would have gotten the words right it was still a very bad version.

When she was supposed to sing the line “O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming,” she actually repeated an earlier line, with a slight variation. She sang “What so proudly we watched at the twilight’s last gleaming,” which is the same line from earlier in the song but with the word ‘watched’ instead of the word ‘hailed.’ and at several points during it, I thought she was a bit pitchy... Not that I'd be any better, but, you know :-)
I think i might try and get some photographs for the Super Bowl in Indy next year. If there is one SB i can make, its that one. A few people that owe me a favor or two :p.
I wasn't going to root for any team, but one of my friends noted that the Steelers had the same colors as Nikon- yellow and black. So naturally, I went Steelers.
But I'm not a fan of football anyway.
