More ice here...I wanted to take some pictures, but I got banned from going outside after I slipped on the ice and sprained my ankle :(
I guess good thing I didn't have my camera in hand when I slipped.

Hey now, I've got one of those fire pit things too. $30 on clearance from Home Depot!

We use ours for tailgates at my local university football games during November. We get a little crowd gathering to keep warm, and that's good for those candid portraits ... sometimes you just have to be a little bit sneaky!

Oh well... As I am now a 9 year Texan (Ye Haw), I have lost the ability to drive in bad weather, and as there was nothing quite as good visually around my house as several others have posted, this is about the best I have got...

These photos were from the winter storm last year.

    All were taken with a D40 and a 35mm 1.8.

Wow NSX thats quite the dumping of snow! Reminds of my days living in Ottawa and shoveling the driveway as a kid.

this is a fun topic, it can be a bit of a challenge to find things to shoot when everything's cold and white out,

Yes, that was the big snow storm NYC got right around Christmas.

I think we got a foot, a foot and half maybe.

    Some great photos posted here.
I did some photos this morning. We had freezing rain yesterday followed by a fresh coat of snow. Here are the pictures http://galleries.gorji.com/p343100725 and http://galleries.gorji.com/p37330322 from 2 weeks ago.

My backyard this past weekend although it is warming up noticeably now! :) I think this will melt quite fast and might be the last snow we see.
