    Very nice regulator and kanuck.
If you want to do portrait, cute kids really help.
Another crazy shot at my fuggy sculpture. The light is the reflection of the sun behind me on the tall building you see in the center-left.

@PB PM - I like the colors in your last shot very much.

@Rx4 - very nice line in the lizard!

From a pet portrait session on Sunday, near the end when I was terrorizing the pugs with my 11-16mm.

Shot this at the end of our blizzard yesterday, the sun was just starting to come out but the winds were still 40mph.

Thanks Kanuck - absolutely love the dramatic skys in your beach photos.
Elvishefer and Treckie - very cute puppies...makes me want one!
Thanks Mike - that's a very inspirational portrait of Payden.

@Bland - here's an impromptu capture for ya. Pulled up next to me at a traffic light. I had the AF-S Nikkor 70-300mm VR on camera and this is all I could fit in at 70mm.

Rx4Photo....Sweet! Is your car a 370Z (referring to reflection)? Back in the early 70's I mowed the yards of the ultra rich in Minneapolis, Minnesota. One of them would let me drive her RR Silver Cloud around her estate until she found a seed burn I had left in the driver seat. They named that car well, it was soft and smooth to drive.

Awesome shots everyone! Mike, your portrait shot is the best I've ever seen!

LOL! I guess my picture should have come with a disclaimer: " Objects in reflection may appear faster than actual item." If that Silver Cloud can make my 13 year old Toyota 4Runner look like a 370Z then I should drive next to it more often! It sure was a beauty.

Great Loon, Treckie. You can really see the charcoal black texture on the head plumage.

Mike, love the composition of that picture. Those are the things that I just don't even think to try. :-(

    Hi JorPet & Mike,

Thank you so much, but that is the result of decades of playful experimentation.

In the forum, the third 'how to post picture' item at the top tells you.
