Agreed, sadly this little owl moves so fast the only way to catch it in flight is right when it takes off!

Thanks Adam, yes the color is natural. There was an ice shelf on Lake superior that was very blue.

I kind of disagree here, I find him having a wing on both sides of the wire makes it kind of interresting.

I like the light and clarity on this one kaos, what lense did you used?

The squirrel was shot with the (somewhat maligned) 75-240 f/4.5-5.6D @ 240mm and f/5.6 at about 8AM with the sun directly behind me, hand-held and braced against my car door. I was fortunate that the tree sits on a small hump, so the ground doesn't run out behind him.

Mike - stunning, the first time I saw Your tulip picture I though it's some American Beauty like composition, the stamen looks like dancers legs.

This condo is 2-3 blocks away from the cemetery but I thought it provided for an interesting perspective. I call it "The high life overlooks the afterlife"

    Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 prime lens.
I'm starting to really enjoy the sharpness of prime lenses over the zooms.
