    Does VR work with extension tubes then, Pierre?

    Yes it does. I put the 3 extensions + the TC-20E3 on the 105mm and autofocus/VR works just fine, the assembly becomes 10 inch long. You can really get close to your subject and have good magnification. Sure lot better shots could be done with a pinned-down butterfly and proper lighting but I am against violence :^) I haven't got a chance to try my focusing rail yet.

    @kaos: thank you!!! Japan really does lend itself to great photos. I wish we had that much snow around here in Kobe!
    @reenz: I find this mustang photo very striking! I think it captures the classic mustang lines that the new model went after. The non gt with the two lamps only I think looks so clean too!

    Hey Bland, That is not too shabby for ISO 1250 - thanks for showing us what can be done at high ISO on the D90! Nice colour too.

    Pierre - sweet. Interestingly, someone reviewed CS5 for stacking and said it wasn't very good - your stack says different.

    @mikeo21: Thanks, but honestly I don't have much knowledge about cars. Saw that car as a nice subject and shoot :P

    @casperwb: Thanks too!

    This Southeast Asia “Atlas Moth” is the world largest Moth. It can reach a foot in wingspan. Notice the transparent section in the wing where you can see the branch through it in the upper middle right. It lives just a few days in this stage, just long enough to reproduce as they have no mouth and cannot feed. They spend the whole day like this, not moving to let their wing dry and become active only at night. The stripes on their back resemble a snake to scare away predators.

    I didn't check Pierre. It's possible that Treckie's ice monster is though. I feel like I'm being eaten by that, and none of my picture's subject matter have been consumed.

    Some really great pictures here - that Tokina looks fun.

    Wedding last year - B&G were looking for these two, found them sneaked in the wedding car.

    spraynpray....you're welcome, ISO1250 is awesome on the D90 but I did have to give them just a little bit of denoise. The lighting was really poor in there.

    elvishefer....thanks, it amazes me (referring to reflections) how many pictures are within a picture. I always like store fronts for back drops in pictures as they provide more shots at a different perspective within the same shot.
