    It's been a bit slow here, so I decided to post this.

    It's an old scanner converted to a camera with a Canon 50mm lens. Why not a Nikkor 50mm? I have no idea.

    But the pictures that come out are awesome. My printer is pretty crappy, I may want to do this in the future, considering it has a flatbed scanner.

    The only issue I see is portability, but the original photographers had to lug a lot out too right? I can see having an extension cord to be extremely helpful with this sort of camera, at the very least. :D

    Nikon D3x, eat your heart out. The guy probably built this with far less than 1/8 of the cost of the camera body.

    the functionality of that ... device is probably even less then 1/10 of D40

    Hey I've got that lens! (Oops, did I just admit that on a Nikon forum?) Looks like I've got me a weekend science project. Wonder how long before my wife notices her Epson scanner is missing?

    Canon lens will work only with canon scanner ... u should know that lol :))))))))))
