An inside view of the Rome Coliseum. Various popes have built St-Peters church using marble and stones from there. A late pope stopped the scavenging realizing that nothing would be left if they continued. Funny to think that the holy symbol of the Catholics has been built from the stones that served to murder about a million people for entertainment. One guide claimed that the Coliseum proves that spirits and ghost do not exist because if there was a place on the planet where ghosts would be trapped, it would be that one and there is not a single report of any manifestation. Apparently, the killing of Christians in the Coliseum is a myth, they were killed outside.

I like that shot Regulator I remember how great the 11-16mm was for me. Nice post processing if there was any maybe out of the body? Lovely clarity :)

Thanks Kanuck. Hardly any PP on this one, very close to SOOC (Crop and straighten).

I think you should change the rule to 1 a day, instead of 1 every 24 hours. Someone might post a picture @ 11:00pm and then the next day at 3:00pm, can't see anything wrong with that. Just my opinion!

At least for Seniors (of the age variety)... Keeping up with hours gets to be, as the SNL gag goes, 'Hard.'

    Great work everyone!

    My best,

    Mike

My first post. Just getting back into SLR photography. While I have done a good deal of CCD astrophotography this is my first go at DSLR photography. I have to say that I really like the new DSLR's over film. This shot of the Hotel Del Coronado was taken with a D3s/Nikon 14-24mm 2.8G.

No, it's not a B&W or sepia photo.
