D7000 Audio monitor? How...

I just picked up a couple D7000 mostly for video use but I can't monitor incoming video with my head phones. Does anyone have a solution for this?

1. Beachtek, or other brand, outboard DSLR audio adapter.
2. If using a phantom-powered mic, use a phantom power supply with a monitor output.
