I see that there is a huge discussion about this issue already on NR. The purpose of this thread is to upload your pictures and see if you should return your camera or not.

    I'll start.
As with many of you, I am new to DSLR and seek professional advice. While shooting video indoors (low light) I get a constant red dead pixel on the bottom left and a blue one top right. I've also noticed a few stuck pixels that come and go in the same areas. The red one is the largest and in all of my videos indoors. Take a look for yourself http://i56.tinypic.com/2rfppjb.jpg

    Should I replace my D7000?

For me I would, I mean you paid 1300 dollars for the camera, but I would make sure they have another one to send you. Is it only with video and indoors? If you dont shoot that much indoors then I don't know if it would be worth sending it back unless you have a replacement. It is Xmas and Thanksgiving so you would be needing the camera more now than in Jan. I would wait and then send it back. But I don't know what kind of warranty you have. I have the Best Buy warranty so I can return it at anytime in the next like 3 yrs.

I agree with you. I purchased mine through Amazon and they are currently out of stock. I contacted them about the issue and they said to keep it for now until they get more in stock. I have until Jan. 31st to return the camera. The bad part is that I threw away the box, and they require full packaging. Hopefully we can work something out.
