I shoot a Nikon D300 with the first version of the Nikon 18-200mm DX lens.
My wife shoots a Nikon D5000 with a Nikon 18-70mm DX lens.
We share the following:
Nikon 35mm DX
Nikon 10-24mm DX
Nikon 70-300mm FX
1. What do the experts think we should add if anything?
2. What do the experts think we should not have?
3. Does it make sense to sell the 70-300mm FX lens and replace it with the 55-300mm DX lens for better range?
4. Does it make sense to sell any portion of the lenses that we have and replace them with the 28-300mm FX lens for the D300 body and use the 18-200mm DX lens for the D5000 body?
There are a lot of choices out there and it can be confusing.
Thanks for any advice that there may be out there.
