hey guys! need help here. really new to using flash.

i got a nissin Di866 flashgun on my nikon d90.
Its new, I've been using it for months and last week suddenly, he flash doesn't seem to give effect on the pictures i take.

and the worse part is there is smoke coming out from it too these days.

    please advice guys.

usually the setting of the camera is at :

    ISO 200
    shutter : 1/200
    aperture : 2.8

i tried taking pictures in a dark room and the picture still turn out to be pitch black although the flash burst.

    please advice. thanks.

IF you are being serious and it is smoking, STOP USING IT! What type of batteries are you using? I have seen off brand batteries start smoking in a camera before. Your flash could start a fire and burn your camera bag, car, house, or you down. Get a Nikon flash instead.
