    I see people like that at races. Ive seen them on cherry pickers ABOVE the street shooting people coming across the finish line. I bet great money!

    PB PM - you're correct about the media photographers but those two guys were with Marathonfoto.com

    smarterchild - the way I understand it the organizer hired Marathonfoto and paid them a fee just to be there (I don't know what that fee was)and then Marathonfoto also gets to keep the money from selling the photos which is $10 for a 5x7 and etc. With over 9,000 people in that race, they probably did pretty well.

    1st photo post from a complete NOOB. Just got my D7000. f5.6 1/125 sec. ISO-1400 @105mm. Auto white balance and color adjustment in GIMP.

    Thanks Skid, the water has a high iron content, hence the rust color. We call it rootbeer.
