OK, I'll bite jonny--stained glass kid or a spectral apparition?

Elvis, I would say work on lighting. I like the idea but the "glow" is in the wrong place.

Squamish & Treckie, your pics consistently blow me away.

Adam, very nice change of pace with the Delhi pic

Dramatic clouds, Squamish! Where abouts is that?

Here's a photo of Bondi Beach at sunrise. Ignore the noise (D80). Plus it was 5:30am...a time I didn't know existed lol.

First post here. This was taken in the Egyptian desert with a D80 and a Tamron 10-24.

Here's a rookie tip to the rookies from a rookie, that I just stumbled upon. I've always tried to shoot with the sun to my back. Last weekend I was forced to shoot into the sun as you can see in this picture. The effects that happen when shooting into the sun are awesome but you "can't" have any sky framed into the picture when shooting. Here's an example of what happens when shooting into the sun with the sky framed into the background: http://i52.tinypic.com/70jfa9.jpg

I will show you some of my old Coolpix 8800 photos.
This on is in Nova-Scotia, Canada. The water was so coold. The girl was probably a local as she was alone with no one around.

    Thanks Regulator75!

Here's another, also in the Egyptian desert. I was working on this rig for a brief time.
