Looks like it doesn't matter when your photo was shot.
I might take a stab at it, but I'm too young to win anything amazing though- the D3s can only be won by those above 29 years of age.

From the FAQ's:
Q.23: Will entrants under the age of 30 be awarded only with the Emerging Talent Award or as a Runner-up?A.23: No. The Grand Prize, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes are open to all entrants regardless of age.
