Is there an actual question in your post or do you just wish to know if D7000 owners have tried it. In the latter case you would get a lot of Yes/No answers.
If you want information on it, then why not open up the D7000 user manual (http://www.nikonusa.com/pdf/manuals/noprint/D7000_ENnoprint.pdf) which was posted in the blog a short while ago and use the Search field or skip to page 155 and read.
