Also, whenever possible, tell us what lens you used for the pic...the Kit 18-105mm or a lens you already had. Thanks.

These high ISO shots don't mean anything unless you show a 100% crop of the image with no noise reduction in-camera or in post. Then we can compare.

Sorry Squamish, I thought this was the "first worthy photos page" not the "100% crop of your first worthy photos page".Regardless, I feel your pain, brother. Happy oblige with some 100% crop high ISO shots this weekend.

Yes this is suppose to just be a fun thread not a discussion on noise performance. Great photos so far. Keep posting them.

My bad. Did not notice the detailed specificity of the thread title.

Was so excited to take some pictures with my new D7000, but by the time I got to the location I only had about 15 minutes to get some pics :( Oh well, I'll take some more soon...

Nothing special as I've really not had too much time with it so far (busy, busy weekend)... but this has been my favorite.

Stil learning a lot of things about the camera (and DSLR's in general, with this being my first). It's been a lot of fun so far though...

    Great shots so far.
@SilenceBroken: Was that taken with flash or is that natural light?

With the flash. It's a pretty powerful thing (compared to my old Pano Lumix Tz5)
