    Hi
It is Oct 15th around 7:00PM EST.

After research and obsessive waiting and reading online and watching hitler videos etc for the past 30 days, I walked into local bestbuy (Newark, DE) and spotted a young immature 19 yr old.

Walked to him and told him to check his system for D7000 kit and made him go back and check the stock room.

He was able to pull off one right from the TRUCK.. as they are unloading

I had a coupon that I found online so I paid only $1300. No tax in Delaware.

I am producing an unboxing video.. Will post it soon.

    I am REALLY EXCITED!!!

You mentioned that you had a coupon. Where did you find/get it at or print it off from?
Also, what lenses did it come with?
    Thanks!

The 18-105 VR lens kit.. the MSRP with the body and lens is $1499

I will post the coupon on my website tonight.. the coupon is valid till Oct 17th.

    This is my first DSLR.

The old camera the canon G5 is a piece of crap.. I struggled with it for the last 5 years.. Finally thought about a new camera last month and ever since that moment I fell in love with the D7000.

This is my First Nikon. I hope this will be a good camera and worth the investment. Hopefully this will last for few years!

I have had my d7000 for a few hours now, and i have to say, im rather impressed. I have taken a ton of pictures and i dont seem to have any issues (light spots or soft focus). When it gets a little darker outside, im going to have a go at a REAL low light test. Also, on a side note. I went into my local camera shop to pick out a new bag for the d7000. They all had a shit fit. Their nikon rep told them the camera wasnt coming out till December.

This is seriously messed up. I would say more, but I don't think its necessary.

well the thing that is really messed up about it, is that they are really the only "camera shop" in the area. I think they have a good reason to be upset though. Selling photography gear is the ONLY thing that they do. Oh well i suppose, i did buy the 35mm 1.8 and a nice bag from them today.
