When traveling, I like to shoot all manual, but this rarely happens as that's also the time I may be with others and need to be quick on the draw.
I may be out in left field here, but I can spell out in programmable if-then terms precisely what I'd like auto/P mode to do. I want to set the max and mins on everything, and some exceptions where I'll allow the iso to exceed 400 if the light level if more than 2 notches* too dark (i may not have worded that properly).
Then I could have my low-key high dof auto, a high speed reasonable ISO full auto, a high speed at all costs full auto, a high dof iso200 better-use-a-tripod full auto... I want to be able to 'author' and tweak my algorithms...
Am I out in left field, or does this sound sort of fun or useful to anyone else? or if I can do this already, what body do I need to upgrade too? :)
