I ordered the new 85 1.4 af-s 3 weeks ago and I've been waiting and waiting... I found out this guy from b&h ordered his in august 20th ish and mine sept 20th. He still hasn't got a copy yet.
I was going to get the 14-24 2.8 for christmas and I thought... How about I wait on the 85 and get that for christmas since it's taking so long to get in and get the 14-24 now to enjoy instead of waiting for a lens that won't get here till Christmas anyways?
Anythoughts?

The 14-24 f/2.8 and 85 f/1.4 are not comparable. They don't do the same thing.

Yeah I agree Drab. There are too many which lens should I buy discussions already. People need to make up there own minds base on their needs instead of expecting sudden enlightenment from a post.
