Hello Everyone,
I am interested in purchasing an AF NIKKOR 20mm f/2.8D for use with a DX body. I understand the 1.5x crop factor equating in an equivalent 30mm. I've read around online, and several people say there are easier ways for obtaining wide angle, several DX kit lenses and other FX/DX 2.8 or 3.5 wide zooms. The problem with those are either they're bad in low light or outrageously expensive. Those two reasons are why I've started to look at the AF NIKKOR 20mm f/2.8D. Alternatives welcome, however, I'm pretty set on this lens because I have a friend selling one for 450, which isn't too bad.
Really looking for thoughts on its use on a DX body (d90 and soon d7000!) I did find this thread "Nikkor AF 20mm f/2.8D" http://nikonrumors.com/forum/topic.php?id=2152, but not really DX focused.
Thanks!
