    Thanks Drab. I've read that but was wondering though, does the 1.5 crop on the DX sensor give me any extra space or will I still be practically on top of every macro shot?

    No. It is a crop (as you said) factor. Nothing else. The physics of the lens are not changed, only the portion of the image circle you use.
