I am not against photo manipulation, just against those type of vignette effects. It immediately reminds me of old cheesy school photos from the 90s. But that's just me.

I am freaking losing my patience already. I just wanna have my Nikon D7k already. Damn it! I should have waited with selling my D200. I wanna start taking photos again1

These be my boots.
d70 + 35-70 3.5

haven't posted in a few weeks I think. I went to Walden Pond today and shot 2 rolls in the Bronica and 1 roll in the FTN, just used the d70 for some snapshots like above. I think I might be buying a flatbed so I can scan negs in my room, and so I can scan the 120.

Thanks framer, another great shot from the day. Interesting how Coke has never changed its cup from those days.

Your 2nd shot of capturing Buddy Baker at speed and leaving the picture soft is incredible, great job!

Here's some info on Joe Frasson in the 18 car. Can't believe I was working in Golden Valley, Minn at that time and didn't know he was from there.

That Buddy Baker shot was full frame with a 200mm. In those days nobody stopped me going out on the grass outside the fence, I followed others. They had cones set up as a don't go zone or thats what I thought at the time. Beg for forgiveness but never ask permission has always been my thing. Anyway after a few minutes a car went on the grass about 1/2 way between me and the track. That's when I went to the pits. Young and dumb. Truth be told, I shot about 5 - 6 rolls and the best was in that envelope. 90% were garbage. That Nikkormat and I was really not fast enough for the speed and action. Shortly after, I got an F2 with motor drive. These newbies today have no clue what it was like to take action shots with a manual camera, like I have no clue what it was like in the old Speed Graphic days. Lost talents....
